Virtual Open Day for Saïd Business School

We were asked by our colleagues at Saïd Business School to come up with an idea for a Virtual Open Day for their MBA course. With many overseas students, Saïd wanted to be able to give a flavour of the course and environment to those who would not be able to attend an Open Day in person.
This was a great opportunity to create a fresh, new approach to the Open Day format (which, after doing some research, we felt was very much needed!). Many of Saïd’s competitors had chosen to use gimmicky scenes to imitate the environment, with the content and viewing experience an afterthought. We wanted to move away from this and create something simple, where the content was the priority.
With a modern use of the Saïd brand, the microsite has been designed to be a simple and enjoyable experience – there are no hidden sections or confusing navigation systems. From first glance the user can instantly see what is available. We have created a microsite that puts the content first: large videos, large images, and a simple and clear area to ask questions....oh and of course, the whole thing works wonderfully on tablets too.
The result is a Virtual Open Day that encapsulates the qualities of Saïd Business School and Oxford itself.
